Whilst driving around the pothole laced streets of Los Angeles, it dawned on me--a moment of clarity, if you will...
Where are all the built street cars? In 1998-1999, there were a lot more. It seems that everyone has put away their toys and went in never to return again.
Granted, a lot of the turbocharged Civics and Integras have given up their battle with big boost and FWD traction (or lack therof), only to graduate to the bevy of WRX's and Evo's. But there's gotta be that core purist, floating around, B-Series idling at 1000 rpm with 300+ hp a few inches away from his foot.
Is this lack of built street cars only in Southern California?
