Which would you choose?

After driving all three, it's tough. The M3 has this solid refined feel. The Evo 9 has a shitload of grip, and the Exige...feels like a go kart with a roof. I'm leaning towards the M3 though...not as practical as the Evo 9, but excellent fit & finish.

1. I had this exact choice, include a used E39 M5 for good measure. I chose the Exige, by far the best choice I ever made!

2. The M3 is just a slightly fast 3 series saloon (you need the CSL for the full hit), and the Evo has ridiculous servicing requirements and massive turbo lag. The Exige is the true driver's car.

3. deffinetly the lotus. im guessing its the most fun to drive, and thats all i want right now. once i get a family, the beemer would stand out more.

4. if it was an exige s and used solely for track, i would go with that but for all around performance, comfort, and necessity for something with more room, i would go with the evo.

5. For a street car I would probably say the Evo, because it has four doors with a decent amount of room inside (I'm 6'3"), and somewhat cheaper than the others. I'de go with the Exige if i could fit better, and the M3 if I had another daily driver.

6. that would be the lotus, yes it's a *** to get into but it's by far the purest sport car today and it looks like a proper sport car too.

7. as for me.. i would choose EVO9.
without reason.. i like it so much... the appearance of the car body and engine performance so cool... and i like the turbo lag.. and it might be a comfort car...

8. I'd chose the Evo 9 by far over the other 2, M3 very powerful car fun to drive
but no as fun as the Evo, exige feels almost like a more developed go kart, The Evo is VERY poerful, and the turbo lag is almost not noticeble, Evo for sure

9. Since the Lotus is an option, I'm assuming you already have a daily driver. If that's the case, I'd take the Exige because it's the best track car of the three, assuming you have the skill to drive it to it's limit. Otherwise, I'd take the M3. The E46 M3 is God's way of providing salvation to those of us who has a family to tote around.

10. I am a poor Canadian boy who loves all 3, but I would say the Evo, because -A)It is AWD,
and B) A Lotus is compensation for something smaller than your bank account.

11. I would go for the EVO 9 hands down the M3 is cool but tear something up on it or the lotus and you will scream. Plus EVO Are the #@$# oh yeAH

12. I would have to go with the Evo 9. I had a friend with an Evo in the past as it was a solid ride with good handling and a nice amount of horsepower. I have been around the lotus in car shows and it just seems to *** small. If I could not have an Evo 9 I would go with a M3. It’s a BWM you know it will turn heads.

13. I would chooose the M3, just because its body looks great: the body, tinted windows, great interior, etc. Plus it's a 4 door car which works out for those who have families, or a lot of friends that always drive around town.

14. I'd probably take the new M3. Something about a 390hp sedan just intrigues me. I know with a lil work you could get the EVO output up to that level, (and beyond). I've always had a thing for M3's ever since I was a lil kid. the Exige would be fun, no doubt about it, but I am a big man, so maneuvering in and out of that thing might get tricky.
