Entered in the USCC back in 2005, Tommy Passalacqua's Lancer Evo 8 has recently been rebuilt by AMS. The plan is to take on the Bonneville Salt Flats land speed competition. Aiming for 230mph+, the Evo will be pushing near or past 1,000whp in order to push the Evo's brick-like aero profile up to the target speed.
